The first ever Burkeshop was a blast, I had so much fun! We had a great group of folks of varying skill levels who were eager to learn more about photography. We started the day by reviewing equipment and exposure. Then we photographed David’s newborn daughter Chyler and spent the rest of the day playing, I mean working, in Lightroom and Photoshop. I think we did a pretty good job of covering everything from the capture to the delivery of products.
Being a supermodel is hard work, one must nap often to rejuvenate.
Sweet Chyler was such a willing participate and allowed me to curl her up in several poses so that everyone could practice shooting.
I’d like to give a special thanks to David’s wonderful wife Bridget, she is an amazing woman. She gave birth just two short weeks ago, but managed to clean the house, take care of the children, and organize lunch for everyone. Thank you for your hard work and dedication B, you are an inspiration!
PS. After receiving several requests for a Lightroom course, I have finally decided to put one together. Look for more info on the blog within the next week!
Thanks to you and David for a great day of learning and fun. It really did help ease some of the fear of jumping in with both feet! It was interesting to see that two professionals with different approaches and styles can work well together since you both share the all important passion for what you do. Thanks and looking forward to the next one. Lightroom is on my shopping list. So is that 50mm lens.. Take care
