If you would like to take your photography a step further, I am teaching an SLR Workshop this Saturday, June 21st at the Community College of Beaver County. The class meets from 9:30am-3:30pm and the cost is $95 + lab fee. You can call them at (724)480-3575 directly to register and more info can be found by clicking here.

For the past few years, on the third Tuesday of every month, I  have been hosting a camera club meeting at our local church. Everyone is welcome, regardless of skill level, type of camera, or aspirations (hobby or pro). There has never been a fee, it’s just a group of photographers getting together to learn, grow, and have fun. We typically explore an educational aspect of photography and then practice our newfound skill.

Last month, we had the pleasure of photographing a bride and groom (pictures to come), and this month we photographed a senior. Because I don’t offer senior photography, my dear friend Soozie stepped in to share her techniques. Make sure you check out her website, I am a proud mentor of hers! We talked about posing, lighting, and getting the best from your subject.

Let me know if you would like more information about camera club, I’d love to see you!
