This past Saturday I had an awesome time teaching my one day SLR workshop at the Community College of Beaver County. I had initially posted about the course here, but the response was so overwhelming that we have decided to offer another session. The one day workshop will be held on Saturday, April 17th at the CCBC Campus from 9:30am-3:30pm. You can learn about CCBC by visiting their website, or you can click here to download the course catalog to read more details regarding the courses.
Registration is already open, and the people that were on the waiting list will be notified shortly of the availability of this new session. Please contact CCBC through their Continuing Education Department at 724.480.3452 if you would like to register. As usual, I have limited the number of participants to provide the best learning environment, and the course usually fills quickly, so register ASAP!
I attended the class, it was great. I’ve been reading up on the basics in photography (aperture, shutterspeed, etc) but it was a much better learning experience to have instruction and hands on experience. Heather is a great teacher too, I picked a lot up from just one day. The only bad thing, now my photography bug is even worse. Expect to see me in your Photoshop workshop soon! Thanks!
I VERY recently attended this class too. I’ve always been a photography novice and have never been able to grasp the more advance concepts of truly having control of how my photos would turn out.
Since taking this class, everything has started to come together. I can’t stress enough how important this class is to really take charge of your photos.
