In this video, I will share my comparison shots using my new Fuji 50-140mm f/2.8 lens. I was curious how it stacked up against my favorite combination: the Nikon D750 with the 70-200mm f/2.8 lens.

Very interesting to see the results of your comparison. I have the Nikon 750 D and 70-200mm f/4 and love the results I get, but I always edit in Lightroom. I also have a Fuji XT20 and love it, the images are sharp but the file size is monstrous in comparison. I imagine the new sensor in the Fuji makes a big difference to the quality of the jpegs you get straight out of camera, although I prefer the warmth of the Nikon images you got over the Fuji. The 750D is a great camera but getting on in terms of technology, will you move to a z6 or z7 for a full frame mirrorless option?
I’m not currently interested in the z6 or z7, but that could always change in the future.
I thought you were using a Nikon 70-200, that Tamron is an older version and the optics on the newer Fuji should be improved comparatively. Try comparing either the Nikon 70-200 VR11 or the new Tamron A25 to see if there is a difference..that should be a better comparison
Under normal circumstances, I would agree, Al. BUT, I ran a test last year comparing the Tamron 70-200 vs the Nikon 70-200 and Tamron was the clear winner. Which is why I decided to use it for this test. I hardly ever use my Nikon any morel
