For me, the color labels are welcome addition to LR. I typically do not bring along my laptop when I travel. If I have shot for several days, the color labels will allow me to color code the folders that need to be edited, the folders that are in the process of being edited, and the folders that have been completed.
As usual, Adobe just releases piddling “updates” to their software for those enslaved to the subscription plan. When you purchased the license to their software in the past, they had to make it worth your while. Now that they have a subscription base and a constant cash flow, they don’t have to spend any time or money innovating, just as predicted.
