In this video, I share the new range masking feature that was recently introduced in the latest LR update.
If you would like to improve one area of your photo, but the adjustment is also affecting unwanted areas, you can use color range masking to constrain those adjustments quickly and easily.

Hi. Are the updates available to everyone at the same time? I don’t see the Range Mask setting in my version of Lightroom Classic CC.
That’s interesting. My understanding is that Adobe rolls out the update to everyone at the same time.
Will uninstalling and reinstalling affect the folders I’ve already created in Lightroom?
I figured out why I couldn’t see it. The range mask tools for color and luminosity selections only become available when you choose a selective adjustment tool and start brushing or dragging a rough selection.
Problem solved!
